About the Design of the “FUPA” T Shirt

"FUPA" went viral in 2017 after plus-size model and body activist Nyome Nicholas-Williams posted swimsuit photos on Instagram, proudly displaying her FUPA. She used the hashtag #FUPA to celebrate body positivity. Her confident displays of her FUPA struck a chord. Many commented it was refreshing to see full-figured bodies normalized on social platforms.

Comedians like Lizzo also used humor to draw attention to FUPA acceptance. The song "Truth Hurts" by Lizzo has a bold line, "I just took a DNA test, turns out I'm 100% that bitch, even when I'm crying crazy." This song really highlighted the trend.
